Necho

Dear Dear Necho

You were one of a kind.

We loved everything about you,

Your soft gentle eyes,

The way your lower lip quivered when you were just standing around,

And the way you called for your girls

The minute they were out of sight.

And didn't stop till they came back out of the barn.

You were proud to be a stallion

But not at all haughty.

I hate to tell you, but

You were just a big Teddy bear

I'm sorry you won't see your babies this spring

Maybe one will be a little stud colt

Like you were so many years ago.

We'll try not to spoil him too much.

Can there ever be another like you?

We pray so.

Stallion, born in April 13, 1988 in Germany, 16.2 HH, 1650 lbs. of weight, well broke  single and double. He was originally owned by the Bavarian Government. He was the first stallion imported to North America in 1993 to Cherry Creek Ranch in British Columbia. Has  been driven in 6, 4. 2 and single hitch and has done some logging. He has a quiet disposition and can be put anywhere in the hitch with mares in front and beside him. He has excellent feet and is clean boned. He has sired the majority of Oberlander colts existing today in North America and has definitely left his mark on the breed. Can hand breed or pasture breed.
